We held a party on the best rooftop in the city to celebrate the VX Showcase and our community. More than 250 guests gathered in the BC Canada Pavilion on the 4th floor of the Vancouver Art Gallery to eat and drink and celebrate. The VXcellence awards honoured contributions to both the VX Showcase and to the Digital Room in the BC Canada Pavilion from Switch Interactive, Canpages, Tangible Interaction, Rainmaker and others. Vancouver’s premier chocolatier, Thomas Haas, provided an amazing cake and we all got a perfect view of the “Ignite the Dream” light show over Robson Square. We also enjoyed access to the Vancouver Art Gallery, including the Digital Media room.
